About me
My name is Geir Freysson, welcome to my blog.
I do freelance web development (mainly using Ruby on Rails) and I run a Reykjavík based company called Transmit.
I was born in Reykjavík, Iceland in 1978. After completing my BSc in Physics at the the University of Iceland I moved to the UK where I did an MSc in computer science at the University of Reading. These days I divide my time between London and Reykajvík.
The book list in the sidebar on the right is powered by an application I built recently, called Wajapi. It’s for discovering books through people. I also run another web application called Walletproof, the easiset budgeting application on earth – no less.
My company, Transmit has one awesome product (Icelandic only at the moment) and one on the way (in English).
